These include believing in an inauthentic fantasy, forming meaningless and empty connections, stunted self-development, and moral isolation. 

Digi AI and AI Romance

Digi AI is no exception to the risks posed by AI romance. When a child interacts with a bot that seems to know that child individually and caters to their every desire, they won’t learn how a relationship actually functions. They may not learn how real relationships require vulnerability, give and take, and compromise. They may further experience emotional manipulation and eventually hurt when their fantasies don’t transfer to reality. 

Can Digi AI be NSFW?

NSFW (Not Safe For Work) content is a big part of Digi AI’s appeal. In fact, many veterans of the AI boyfriend/girlfriend community favor Digi AI for its inappropriate content and lack of filtering software. 

These explicit conversations with the AI are only accessible upon purchase of a subscription. However, kids can accidentally purchase subscriptions without knowing the content they’re accessing, so parents should be incredibly cautious when allowing access to the app.
