Gabb Maps allows your child to search for addresses & navigate using turn-by-turn driving, walking, & biking directions.
Installing Gabb Maps on your Gabb Phone
Gabb Maps is available on all Gabb Phones. If Gabb Maps doesn’t come preinstalled on your Gabb Phone, follow these steps to download it:
- Log in to the Gabb App Store from your Gabb account →
- Find Gabb Maps, select Add, then select Add App.
- For Pro model Gabb phones, open the Google Play Store on your child’s Gabb Phone, locate Gabb Maps, then select Install.
- The app will automatically be downloaded on the Gabb Phone 4.
Using Gabb Maps
- Open Gabb Maps on the Gabb Phone.
- Search for a location in the Search here field.
- Select Directions to view turn-by-turn directions but not start navigation.
- Select Start to start navigation.
- Select the red stop button to end navigation.
- Open Gabb Maps on the Gabb Phone.
- Select the Layers icon in the upper-right corner (below the person icon).
- Select the view you want:
- Normal: Shows locations and street names. No satellite imagery.
- Satellite: Satellite view of map. Does not show locations or street names.
- Hybrid: Combination of Normal & Satellite. Shows satellite view, locations, and street names.
- Open Gabb Maps on the Gabb Phone.
- Select the bottom icon in the lower-right corner. This will center the navigation on the phone’s current location.
- Open Gabb Maps on the Gabb Phone.
- Select the icon second from the bottom in the lower-right corner. This will reset your navigation direction to point north.

The Gabb Phone 3 Pro & Gabb Phone 4 Pro offer voice-guided directions in Gabb Maps. Other Gabb Phone models do not support voice-guided directions.
Gabb doesn’t collect any sensitive data from Gabb Maps. The generic data that is collected is used to improve Gabb Maps’ performance.
