What is Gabb Cloud?
Gabb Cloud allows you to back up and restore data on your Gabb Phone. Gabb Cloud is included with all Gabb service plans. Your child’s data will automatically restore when they sign in to a new Gabb Phone.
Your child must log in to their Gabb ID on their device to allow their data to be backed up to Gabb Cloud. Gabb Cloud automatically backs up your data every night.

Setting up Gabb Cloud
All of our Gabb service plans include Gabb Cloud. Your child must log in to the GabbID app on their Gabb Phone in order to sync their data to Gabb Cloud. After they’re logged in to Gabb ID, their data will be backed up to the cloud automatically.
Follow these steps to set up Gabb Cloud on your Gabb Phone:
- Connect the Gabb phone to WiFi.
- Open the Gabb ID app on the Gabb Phone.
- Select I’m a Kid.
- Create a new Gabb ID or sign in with an existing Gabb ID. Your data will be automatically backed up to the cloud.
Gabb Cloud FAQs & Troubleshooting
Log in to the Gabb ID app from the Gabb Phone to automatically log in to Gabb Cloud.
Photos and videos stored on the cloud can be seen in the Gabb Photos app on the Gabb Phone.
- Log in to the Gabb ID app from the Gabb Phone.
- Select the three dots in the upper-right corner, then select Back Up Now. This will sync your data to the cloud.
Data syncing has a 10 minute timeout. If the data syncing times out, try manually backing up your data again.
Gabb Cloud automatically backs up your data every night. If your data isn’t backing up, try this:
- Log in to the Gabb ID app on your Gabb Phone using your child’s login information.
- Connect the Gabb Phone to WiFi.
- Enable all permissions for Gabb Cloud.
- Manually back up your data to the cloud.
- Connect the new Gabb Phone to WiFi.
- Log in to your child’s Gabb ID app on the new Gabb Phone using their existing Gabb ID credentials. This will automatically restore the data to the new Gabb phone.
Make sure that you log in with the same Gabb ID that you used on your old Gabb Phone.

If your data didn’t restore on your new Gabb Phone, log in to MyGabb on your old Gabb Phone, connect it to WiFi, then manually back up your data. If you no longer have access to the old Gabb Phone then you won’t be able to restore that data.
Manually back up your data. If that doesn’t work, sign out of the Gabb ID app, then sign back in. After you sign in, manually back up your data again.
Log in to the Gabb ID app from the Gabb Phone. The date and time of your last Gabb Cloud backup will be at the bottom of the screen.
