Monitoring Text & Call History
Usage Logs
You can monitor your child’s text and call usage logs from your Gabb account. Here’s how to find your child’s usage logs:
- Log in to your Gabb account here →
- Select View Details next to the line you want to view the usage logs for.
- Scroll down to the appropriate section:
- Call Logs section: Call history
- Text Logs section: Text history
You can filter or download these usage logs as needed.
Usage logs do not show the actual contents of the phone call or text message. They show details including the time stamp and the other phone number.
Parental Control Options
Gabb offers families different levels of features to best fit their situation. Here are some options available to parents:
Gabb Messenger offers the parents the following:
- Get notified on your smartphone about messages that are flagged as harmful via the Gabb Messenger Parent app.
- Choose message deletion settings for your child’s device (never delete, after 30 days, immediately).
- Safe Video Calling: Terminate the call if any nudity is detected and lock the feature.

Pro model Gabb devices on our Advanced plan can have third-party apps approved and enabled by their parent. Follow these steps from a computer to upgrade your plan:
- Login at gabb.com/account →
- Select Manage next to plan details. Upgrade your plan to Advanced.
To upgrade an existing Gabb device to a Gabb Phone 4 Pro, login to your Gabb account at gabb.com/account and select Upgrade Device.
To enable a 3rd party app:
- Login at gabb.com/account →
- Select Gabb App Store.
- Select the device and search for the desired app.
- Enable the app. You can now download the 3rd party app on the Gabb device from the Google Play Store app.
