Do you replace components and parts as part of your refurbishing process?

Unlike some programs, Certified Refurbished Gabb phones and watches only qualify if they pass testing without needing part replacements, except a fresh band for Gabb watches. Each refurbished Gabb phone or watch ships with its original battery and casing to ensure consistency, durability, and authentic performance.

Will my refurbished device look new?

The images below show the types of minor cosmetic wear you may see on Certified Refurbished devices. Images are for illustration only. Actual imperfections may vary but all devices are fully functional.

All devices are fully functional, safe, and kid-ready. Each has been carefully cleaned and inspected. Some devices may have minor cosmetic imperfections, but performance — including GPS tracking, calling, text messages, and Gabb Messenger — is always guaranteed.

How much can I save?

Is there an activation fee?

Yes. All new and Certified Refurbished Gabb phones and watches require a one-time $30 activation fee.

Certified Refurbished Gabb Watch 3e devices come with a black sport band, charging cord, and fresh packaging — ready to connect right out of the box. Certified Refurbished Gabb phones are squeaky clean, and ship in new packaging.

Certified Refurbished Gabb phones and watches include a 3-month standard warranty covering malfunctions and defects. Optional extended coverage is available at checkout to protect against drops, spills, and accidents. Loss and theft are not covered.

How is this different from buying new?

New Gabb phones and watches include a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty and may be available in different colors or bundles. Certified Refurbished devices come with a 3-month warranty, and deliver like-new functionality, the same kid-safe experience (no social media, GPS tracking, safe messaging, and easy parental controls) — but at a significantly lower cost and with a shorter warranty.

Can I return a refurbished device?

Certified Refurbished Gabb devices are final sale and not eligible for buyer’s remorse returns. However, every device is protected by a 3-month warranty (with optional extended coverage), so if your device stops working as expected during that time, it can be replaced or exchanged. The optional Gabb Warranty ($4.99/mo) will replace defective devices up to two times per year.
