We all decided to “Go Gabb.”
At the end of 6th grade, I was in a group text with the moms of their best friends and asked, “What’s everyone doing about phones?” I was hoping we could all agree on some boundaries, but one mom suggested we all look into Gabb. We all decided to give Gabb a try, and I’m so grateful.
Coordinating with our “village” about cell phones has made all the difference. None of us have to worry about some of the group having social media, and the bullying that inevitably comes with it. None of us have to hear how one friend has Snap, and why can’t I? And, the messaging filtration and flagging* has led to countless conversations about what we say and don’t say when we text. Gabb has literally helped me parent and made it so much easier!
I highly recommend talking to other parents. If every kid in my daughters’ grade had Gabb, these kids would actually have a chance at a real childhood.
