Can I cancel my line?
We make canceling a line (or all of your lines) with Gabb easy. You can cancel a line from within your Gabb account, or by contacting us via phone. Only the primary account holder can request a cancelation.
After you cancel a line we'll assess any prorated credits or Early Termination Fees. We'll send you a final bill with all your final credits and charges, and we'll also send you an email confirming that your line has been canceled.
‼️ When you cancel a line, the line is immediately deactivated, billing stops, and the phone number is lost. Billing stops for future billing cycles, but if an invoice has already been generated for the current cycle, that charge will still go through. You'll receive a prorated credit for unused days on your next invoice. Autopay will continue until your final bill is settled.
Cancelation tips
Keep the following things in mind when canceling a line:
If your line is still under contract, you may be charged an early termination fee (ETF), depending on how much time you have left in your contract. If you're on a month-to-month plan (no contract), you won't be charged an ETF.
If you want to transfer your phone number to another carrier, contact the new carrier to start the transfer/port out process.
Do not cancel your line until the transfer is complete. Canceling your line before the transfer is complete could result in losing your phone number.
After cancelation or transferring your line to another carrier, you maintain ownership of your Gabb device. Keep in mind that Gabb devices can only be used on Gabb's cellular network.
Before you cancel—is your device the issue?
If you're thinking about canceling your line because of an issue with your Gabb Phone or Gabb Watch, try troubleshooting the issue first. Many device issues, including connectivity issues or charging problems, can be resolved without canceling your line.
Check the troubleshooting guide for your device:
If you still can't resolve the issue with your device, you may be eligible for a warranty replacement. Devices less than a year old are covered by the manufacturer's warranty, and you can also add an extended Gabb warranty to cover devices after the first year is up.
If you cancel your line, your phone number may be permanently lost, and you may be charged an early termination fee (ETF).
