Gabb makes it easy to transfer your child's phone number. When you need to transfer your child's phone number from an old device to a new one, you do not need your old device. The transfer process is done completely online, even if your phone has a SIM card that can be removed. We make the service transfer entirely digital & seamless.
Transferring your phone number is also called porting in or porting out.
Transferring considerations
Transferring, or porting, a phone number moves the phone number from one device to another. Using this transfer process ensure that you can keep your phone number when you switch devices.
Transfer/port in: Transfer your phone number from another carrier to a Gabb device.
Transfer/port out: Transfer your Gabb phone number to a device with another carrier.
When you transfer/port your number out of Gabb, your Gabb line will be disconnected once the transfer process is complete.

To transfer your existing phone number in to Gabb, you'll need to contact your existing carrier. You'll need the following information:
Account number from your current carrier
Name of the account holder
Home address listed on your account with your current carrier
Contact phone number
Transfer/port out PIN from your current carrier (request this from your current carrier)
After you have all of this information, contact your current carrier to request that they transfer your phone number to Gabb.
Your line must remain active until the transfer is complete. It can take up to 24 hours to transfer your phone number.
After the transfer process is complete, we'll send you an email confirmation showing that your phone number was transferred to Gabb.

Transfer a phone number out of Gabb
To transfer your phone number out of Gabb, you'll need to contact Customer Support. You'll need the following information:
Gabb account number
Name of the account holder
Home address listed on your Gabb account
Contact phone number
Transfer/port out PIN (your four-digit Gabb security PIN)
After you have all of this information, contact Customer Support to request that we transfer your phone number to your new carrier.
Your line must remain active until the transfer is complete. It can take up to 24 hours to transfer your phone number.
After the transfer process is complete, your Gabb line will be disconnected. We'll send you an email confirmation showing that your line has been disconnected.
