Warranty overview

There are two warranty options available when you purchase your device: a manufacturer’s warranty and a Gabb warranty. This article outlines the standard & extended warranty policies, costs, and how to start a warranty claim.

All Gabb devices come with the one-year manufacturer’s warranty, but you must add the Gabb Warranty to each device if you want protection against drops and spills.

Features of manufacturer warranty

All Gabb devices come with a one-year limited manufacturer's warranty. The manufacturer's warranty covers defective devices, with some limitations.

The manufacturer warranty:

  • Has no additional cost

  • Comes with all Gabb devices

  • Covers the first year your device is active

  • Covers defective devices during normal use

    The manufacturer's warranty does not cover:

  • Damage from drops and spills

  • Lost or stolen devices

  • Damage caused by misuse

  • Batteries

Features of Gabb warranty (device protection)

Gabb offers a warranty for additional device protection. The Gabb warranty requires a $40 deductible for Watches and a $60 deductible for Phones.

You cannot upgrade devices on a Gabb warranty claim.

The Gabb warranty:

  • Is added to individual devices (each device must have its own warranty plan)

  • Costs $4.99/month per device

  • Covers your device every month you pay the $4.99

  • Covers damage from drops and spills

    The Gabb warranty does not cover:

  • Lost or stolen devices

  • Damage caused by misuse

  • Batteries

Process a warranty claim

The way to process a warranty claim depends on which warranty you have.

Manufacturer warranty

  1. Log into your Gabb account.

  2. Tap Replace Device.

  3. Tap Device is Broken.

  4. Follow the prompts to file your Gabb warranty claim.

Once we process your warranty claim (and you've paid the deductible, if applicable), we'll ship a replacement device to you. It can take up to seven business days to receive your replacement device.

Returning your device

Manufacturer's warranty

When making a manufacturer's warranty claim, you may need to return your Gabb device. Here's how it works:

  1. Download and print the return label: Locate the email from Gabb with the return label, then download and print the return label.

  2. Pack the defective device: Disable all lock codes and fingerprints on the Gabb Phone. Include your return (RMA) number inside the box.

  3. Ship the defective device: Attach the return label to the outside of your package, then deliver it to the specified carrier.

‼️ If you do not return your device, additional charges may apply.

Gabb warranty

When we process a return with a Gabb warranty claim, you usually do not need to return your defective device. If you do need to return your device, we'll let you know.

Follow these steps to return your device:

  1. Download and print the return label: Locate the email from Gabb with the return label, then download and print the return label.

  2. Pack the defective device: Disable all lock codes and fingerprints on the Gabb Phone. Include your return (RMA) number inside the box.

  3. Ship the defective device: Attach the return label to the outside of your package, then deliver it to the specified carrier.

Warranty FAQs

Can I cancel the Gabb warranty?

Yes, you can cancel the Gabb warranty at any time. Keep in mind that if you cancel the Gabb warranty, the warranty coverage will end and your device will no longer have protection from drops and spills.

If you remove the Gabb warranty from your account, and your device is outside the one-year manufacturer's warranty, your device will not have protection.

What if I can't find my warranty order?

If you can't find your warranty order, confirm that you are using the Gabb order number, and not an order number from Amazon or another retailer.

Do I need to return my old device?

Whether or not you need to return your Gabb device depends on the specific warranty claim you made. Generally, devices covered under the manufacturer's warranty do need to be returned; but devices covered under the Gabb warranty do not need to be returned.

If you need to return your device, we will send you an email confirmation about the return. Check your email to see if you need to return your Gabb device.

Do I have to pay a deductible?

You may need to pay a deductible, depending on the type of warranty claim you filed.

Does a warranty claim change my contract status?

No, a warranty claim does not affect your current contract.

What if my device is no longer sold by Gabb?

If your device is no longer sold by Gabb, we'll replace that device with its closest equivalent.

What if I don't have warranty coverage but need a replacement?

If you don't have warranty coverage but you need a replacement device, you'll have to pay full price for a replacement device.

Do I have to add the Gabb warranty back to my replacement device?

No, you do not need to add the Gabb warranty to your replacement device. The warranty will automatically transfer over to your new device.
