COMING SOON—Gabb is happy to announce a new operating system for the Gabb Watch 3e—OS2 for Gabb Watch 3e. 🎉 Gabb OS2 has many new features and improvements for the Gabb Watch.

Last year we released our Gabb Watch 3e operating system to the Gabb Watch 3, and this year we are releasing our biggest operating system update yet. If you have a Gabb Watch 3e (or Gabb Watch 3), you’ll be able to download Gabb OS2 once it rolls out.

‼️ You do not need to buy a new Gabb Watch to get OS2 for Gabb Watch. To download Gabb OS2, all you need to do is update your current watch. If your watch is on the charger overnight, you’ll receive the update automatically once it rolls out.

👉 If you have a Gabb Watch 2, you won’t be able to download Gabb OS2. If you have a Gabb Watch 2 and you’d like to get Gabb Watch OS2, check to see if you’re eligible for an upgrade to the Gabb Watch 3e.

🌟 We’re releasing Gabb OS2 gradually, so the day it becomes available for your watch may vary. To make sure you get this update as soon as possible, keep your Gabb Watch on the charger overnight. When the update is available, it will download and install automatically.

Features of OS2 for Gabb Watch 3e

New home screen

We’ve refreshed the Gabb Watch home screen in Gabb OS2 to make it simpler and easier for kids to use.

  • Simpler navigation: Swipe right, left, or down—that’s it.

  • App favorites: Pin up to three apps to the top of the Apps screen to keep your favorite apps close. Press and hold on an app to add it to your favorites.

  • Improved Quick Access panel: We’ve expanded the Quick Access panel to make everyday actions even easier. Simple, speedy, and kid-friendly—just the way Gabb does it. Now, when your child swipes down from the top of the home screen, they can quickly:

    • Toggle Wi-Fi or Bluetooth on and off

    • Turn the Flashlight on or off

    • Open Wallpaper, Theme, or Settings with a single tap

  • Improved Apps screen: We’ve combined the Apps and Settings screens into one easy-to-navigate screen. With OS2 for Gabb Watch 3e, both apps and settings are clearly labeled—no more guessing which icon to tap!

Location improvements

Gabb OS2 provides improved location accuracy with faster updates, letting you know where they are quicker and better than before.

Gabb Messenger

Gabb Messenger makes it easy for your child to stay safely connected with their approved contacts. They can send custom texts, quick presets, emojis, audio clips, Speech-to-Text messages, and even group chats—all in one fun, kid-safe space!

If your child receives a message that may contain potentially harmful content, we'll flag it and notify you by email.

Improved Gabb Go

We’ve given the Gabb Go app a makeover and streamlined the menu. With Gabb OS2, Gabb Go pets, actions, tasks, and step tracker will now be backed up.

New themes

We’ve reimagined how themes work in OS2 for Gabb Watch 3e—giving kids more ways to make their watch their own. Themes are now split into two parts:

  • Background: Choose between Dark Mode or Light Mode.

  • Color: Pick from five fun button colors to personalize the look of the watch.

A simple, playful way for your child to show their style!

New wallpapers

OS2 for Gabb Watch 3e comes packed with 20+ fresh wallpapers to make every watch feel unique. When an alarm, timer, or stopwatch is running, you’ll now see a handy icon right on the home screen.

We’ve also added new wallpapers with built-in app shortcuts, giving kids quick access to their favorite apps with just a tap.

Gabb ID improvements

How to access

Gabb ID is no longer a separate app with Gabb OS2. To access your Gabb ID:

  1. Swipe to the Apps screen.

  2. Tap About Device. The Gabb ID field is listed on this screen.

If the watch isn’t logged in to Gabb ID, you’ll see a login icon, and it will say “Not Signed In” under Gabb ID.

What is backed up with Gabb ID?

Gabb ID now backs up the following with Gabb OS2:

  • Contacts

  • Gabb Go:

    • Pets

    • Actions

    • Tasks

    • Step tracker

    • Coins

  • Preset text messages

  • Focus Modes

  • Volume control

  • Profile settings on the MyGabb app

Must be logged in to Gabb ID to use

Your watch must be logged in to Gabb ID to use the following apps and settings with Gabb OS2:

  • Backup and restore

  • Speech-to-Text

  • Location

  • App updates

  • Gabb Go:

    • Pets

    • Actions

    • Tasks

    • Step tracker

    • Coins

  • Preset text message changes

Gabb Move

Gabb Go™ has replaced Gabb Move™ with OS2 on Gabb Watch 3e. Gabb Go has a built in step tracker that tracks your child’s steps.

Set a step goal with your child using the MyGabb app on your (parent’s) smartphone. When they hit their step goal, they can earn coins to care for their virtual pet.
