Location overview 📋
Gabb devices use cell towers, GPS, & WiFi to track their location. The phone or watch receives signals from nearby cell towers, satellites, & WiFi routers, then uses this information to determine the location of your device.
Turn on location monitoring 📍
Here’s how you can turn on location monitoring for your Gabb phone or Gabb watch:
Log in to the MyGabb app on your smartphone.
Tap on the Devices tab, then tap Profile next to your device.
Tap the pencil icon ✏️ next to the Location Monitoring section.
Enable Location monitoring, then tap Update Settings.
Manually refresh GPS location 🔄
GPS location automatically updates every 15 minutes, but you can update the location manually at any time. Here’s how:
Log in to the MyGabb app on your smartphone.
Tap on your device.
Click Refresh button 🔄 in the bottom-left corner of the map. The location of your Gabb device will update.
Set up a Safe Zone 🏠
You can use the MyGabb app to set up a Safe Zone for your child. When they enter or leave a Safe Zone, we’ll send you a notification on your smartphone.
When your child enters or leaves a Safe Zone, you’ll get updated every 15 minutes. You can also click the Refresh button 🔄 in the MyGabb app if you want a real-time location update.
You can set up a Safe Zone in a few easy steps:
Log in to the MyGabb app on your smartphone.
Tap Safe Zones.
Tap the plus sign ➕ in the bottom-right corner of the map.
Enter your Safe Zone details, then tap Save.

If the location of your Gabb device is delayed, try these troubleshooting steps:
Make sure your device is turned on, charged, & has at least three bars of cell service (or is connected to WiFi). 🛜
Open the MyGabb app on your (parent’s) smartphone.
Tap on your device.
Tap the Refresh button 🔄 in the bottom-left corner of the map.
Unable to locate device

GPS unable to locate your Gabb device? Follow these steps:
Make sure your device is turned on, charged, & has at least three bars of cell service (or is connected to WiFi). 🛜
Open the MyGabb app on your (parent’s) smartphone.
Tap on your device.
Tap the Refresh button 🔄 in the bottom-left corner of the map.

If the location of your Gabb device isn't accurate, follow these troubleshooting steps:
Make sure your Gabb device is turned on, charged, & has at least three bars of cell service (or is connected to WiFi). 🛜
Restart your Gabb device.
Manually update the device’s location:
Open the MyGabb app on your (parent’s) smartphone.
Tap on your device.
Tap the Refresh button 🔄 in the bottom-left corner of the map
