Quiet Time on Your Gabb Watch 3/3e
What is Quiet Time?
The following information is applicable to both Gabb Watch 3 and Gabb Watch 3e. Convert your Gabb Watch 3 to a Gabb Watch 3e by following the steps in this article.
Quiet Time is a feature that allows you to silence notifications on your child’s Gabb Watch 3/3e at specified times during the day, such as during school or at bedtime. Customize the day and time of these Quiet Times, and add up to 10 different Quiet Time schedules.
How do I set up Quiet Time?
Follow these steps to set up a new Quiet Time for your child’s Gabb Watch 3/3e:
- Log in to the MyGabb app from your (parent’s) smartphone.
- Tap on the Devices tab at the top of the screen.
- Tap Profile next to your child’s profile.
- Tap Add Quiet Time in the Quiet Times section.
- Complete the following fields on the New Quiet Time page:
- Enable the Active slider.
- Enter a name for your Quiet Time in the Quiet Time Name field.
- Check the Focus Mode box to disable all apps and notifications, except from a parent or guardian. Your child can text or call parents & guardian contacts, as well as make SOS calls.
- Check the SIlent Mode box to silence all sounds the watch during this Quiet Time.
- Select the days of the week you want the Quiet Time to be active.
- Select the From and To times you want the Quiet Time to be active.
- Tap Save.
If you want to set up Quiet Time overnight, you must set up two sets of instructions: One from bedtime to 11:59 p.m., and the other from midnight until wakeup time.
How to edit or delete a Quiet Time
- Log in to the MyGabb app from your (parent’s) smartphone.
- Tap on the Devices tab at the top of the screen.
- Tap Profile next to your child’s profile.
- Tap Manage in the Safe Zones section.
- Tap the edit button next to the Safe Zone you want to edit or delete.
- Edit Safe Zone: Make your changes, then tap Save.
- Delete Safe Zone: Scroll to the bottom of the page, then tap Delete > Yes.
