Gabb Phone 4 Pro/3 Pro Settings & Apps
This article is your guide to your Gabb Phone 4 Pro or Gabb Phone 3 Pro’s settings and apps.
You can connect your Gabb Phone to Bluetooth devices including speakers & headphones. Bluetooth can also be used to pair your Gabb phone with your MyGabb app.

The Calendar app allows your child to create events & reminders for events.
- Open the Calendar app on your Gabb phone.
- Tap the plus sign in the bottom-right corner.
- Fill out your event details, then select Save.
Reminders: Use the Reminder setting to set a reminder:
- At time of event
- 10 minutes before (default)
- 1 hour before
- 1 day before
Repeating events: Use the Repeat setting to repeat events on a daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly basis.
Take a photo
Open the Camera app and tap the shutter button. The photo will be saved to your Gallery.
Edit a photo
Apply filters, crop, or rotate a photo by opening it in the Gallery app and selecting Edit. Select Save Copy to save your edited photo. This will not save over or delete the original photo.
Camera settings
To adjust your camera settings, open the Camera app, then select the gear icon in the upper-left corner. From here you can customize how the camera appears & functions.
Open the Settings app on your Gabb phone, then tap DIsplay. From here you can turn on dark mode, adjust screen zoom, screen timeout, customize the navigation bar, & more.
Dark mode: Tap the Dark option at the top of the Display page in the Settings app. If you don’t want dark mode on all the time, tap Dark mode settings to set up a dark mode schedule.
- Open the Settings app on your Gabb phone.
- Tap Safety and emergency. From here you can set up emergency alerts, emergency contacts, wireless emergency alerts, medical information, and more.
You can customize your Gabb phone by adding apps, folders, and widgets to your home screen. You can place the app, folder, or widget anywhere on the screen, and they can be rearranged on a grid.
Apps
Add app to home screen
- Unlock your Gabb phone, then swipe up from the bottom.
- Press & hold on the app you want to add, then drag it to your home screen.
Move app on home screen
Press & hold on the app, then drag it where you want it.
Create an app folder
Press & hold on one of the apps, then drag it into another app to create your folder. Enter the name of your folder. Drag additional apps into the folder to add them.
Remove app from home screen
Press & hold on the app, then select Remove. This will remove the app from your home screen, but not from your device.
Widgets
Add widget to home screen
- Press & hold on your home screen, then tap Widgets.
- Tap the widget you want to add, then tap Add.
Create widget stack
- Press & hold on a widget on your home screen, then tap Create Stack.
- Tap the new widget you want to add, then tap Add.
- Repeat these steps to add additional widgets to your stack.
Edit widget stack
- Press & hold on the widget on your home screen, then tap Edit Stack.
- Swipe to the widget you want to remove, then tap the red minus sign to remove it from the stack.
Remove widget from home screen
Press & hold on the widget, then tap Remove.
The IMEI number is a 15-digit unique identification number for your Gabb phone. The IMEI allows you to connect the phone to Gabb’s cellular network.
You may need to provide us with your IMEI during certain inquiries. To locate your IMEI number:
- Open the Settings app on your Gabb phone.
- Tap About phone. Your IMEI will be on this screen.
Follow these steps to update your keyboard settings:
- Open the Settings app on your Gabb phone.
- Scroll down, then tap General management.
- Tap Samsung keyboard settings. From here you can customize your keyboard.
The Gabb Phone 4 Pro & Gabb Phone 3 Pro both use the Gabb Messenger app for text, group, photo, voice, and video messaging. This allows Gabb to monitor, flag, and block texts that may be inappropriate.

- Create a note: Open the Notes app on your Gabb Phone, then tap the pencil icon in the bottom-right corner.
- Edit a note: Open the note you want to edit, then tap into it and make edits. Your edits will be saved automatically.
- Delete a note: Press & hold on the note, tap Delete, then tap Move to Trash.
Notes features:
- Text input, with ability to change font, size, & color
- Drawing tools: Pen, highlighter, eraser
- Take notes in your own handwriting
- Voice recording
- Page templates: Add lines, checkboxes, and grids to your note pages
- Attach images or PDFs to notes
Make & end a call
- Open the Phone app on your Gabb phone.
- Tap Contacts.
- Tap on your contact’s name, then select the blue phone icon to place the call.
- Tap the red phone icon to end the call.
Answer / decline a call
Answer a call: Select/slide the green phone icon when your phone rings.
Decline a call: Select/slide the red phone icon when your phone rings. This will send the call to voicemail.
Turn on WiFi calling
- Open the Settings app on your Gabb Phone.
- Tap Connections.
- Tap the radio button next to WiFi Calling.

System settings
- Open the Settings app on your Gabb phone.
- Scroll down, then tap General management.
- Tap Reset.
- Select the reset option you want.
- Tap Reset Settings to reset the selected settings back to default.
App settings
- Open the Settings app on your Gabb phone.
- Scroll down, then tap Apps.
- Tap the three dots in the upper-right corner, then tap Reset app preferences.
- Tap Reset.
What is a SIM card number?
The SIM number is a unique identification number for your Gabb service plan. The SIM number allows us to validate that your phone can connect to Gabb’s cellular network. Your SIM card houses your phone number
You may hear a SIM number referred to as an ICCID number.
You may need to provide us with your SIM/ICCID number. Follow these steps to find it:
1. Open the Settings app on your Gabb phone.
2. Tap About phone > Status information.
4. Tap SIM card status. Your SIM/ICCID number is in the ICCID field.
Transfer your service:
You can transfer your child’s phone number from one Gabb phone to another by performing a SIM swap. This can be done online.
Removing the SIM card is neither required nor recommended on Gabb phones to transfer the phone number.
Dial *86 from your Gabb phone & follow the prompts to set up or check your voicemail.
- Press & hold on your home screen, then tap Wallpaper & style.
- Tap Change wallpapers.
- Select the photo you want to change your wallpaper to.
- Select the screens you want to apply the wallpaper to, then tap Next.
- Tap Done to apply the changes.

Why does my Gabb Phone have WiFi?
Gabb devices connect to WiFi to deliver software updates and stream Gabb Music. Gabb devices do not connect to the internet, social media, or unapproved apps in the Google Play Store.

WiFi calling
WiFi calling allows your Gabb Phone to make calls when no mobile network is available. Here’s how to turn it on:
- Open the Settings app on your Gabb Phone 4 Pro or Gabb Phone 3 Pro.
- Tap Connections.
- Enable the slider next to WiFi Calling.
